Last Hurrah for Kindergarten
Every parent/teacher conference this year we heard about our little social butterfly. At the beginning of the year we worried a bit about how well she would "adapt" to life in kindergarten. As it turns out, we had nothing to worry about. She went to school everyday as if she had been invited to an exclusive party of 23 of her best friends. She had super fun teachers, and only minor issues with office staff. As the end of the year approached, it was great to see how far she had come. Way to go baby girl, the world belongs to you.
Super Fun Engagement Session
This photo shoot was loads of fun. I spoke with Denise and Juan about the upcoming wedding, and found out many exciting details. I'm most excited to see her shoe choice. Right now the choice is red, leopard or blue. All delicious choices!! So much fun and so very easy to photograph fun people.

I'm On A Break
This picture made us late for dinner. We made the group wait on us downstairs while we got this ridiculous shot. Sorry group.
The phrase "I need a vacation" comes out of my mouth about once a month. On a really bad week, I might threaten a vacation daily. That week is normally predictable and pretty obvious. I digress. We had an opportunity that allowed us a kid-free week. OK, really I traded good 'ole Victoria some wedding photography for some serious babysitting and time served at the Bridal Show. As luck would have it we convinced our good friends Chris, Tammy, Sidney and Melody to meet us in sin city. Most of us have a long history. In fact, I can't remember a time when I did not know most of them. We truly grew up together, and know each other like family. Priceless.
We had a super fantastic time walking the strip in ridiculous heals, loosing quick money to the pit boss and dinning on over priced food. But looking back on the week, my best time was just hanging out in the hotel room with everyone. We always have the best time laughing about "inappropriate" subject matters, and of course we all have fun laughing and making fun of each other. I don't think you're really friends until you can do that. The week came and went all too soon, but we have hopes of doing it again. Hopefully, it won't be another 5 years! Good Times, Good Times.
