The Luckiest Bride Ever!

I can count on one hand the number of times that it has rained all day here in Phoenix. Normally the rain is very brief and very predictable. If it rains at all, it normally spawns a top story on the news with several reporters "on location" reporting on the rain spottings. April 12 was not one of those days. It was raining when I went to bed the night before and it rained all day! I knew this wedding was scheduled to be an outdoor wedding, but I was quite shocked to hear that they were preceeding with the outdoor efforts. As things turned out, the clouds parted and the sun came through. It turned out to be a beautiful few hours.

Pinewood Dirby Champion

Up until recently, Andrew has shown very little intreast in AWANAS. We insist on him going because we like that the kids learn Bible verses and have a great time singing and playing games. OK, the real reason is that we love our dinner out in the middle of the week with no kids. The verses are a definite bonus. Any who, Andrew decided to enter himself the his first pinewood dirby race. As far as I knew all we had to do was paint it with some oops paint and glue on the wheels. Pretty much something we could do the night before. I was so wrong. The boys took several trips to Home Depot and one trip to the neighbors house. Ross took it to work several times for a weigh in.

The day had arrived and our wheels were lubed. We were all a bit nervous that our first slide down the slide would sent nuts and bolts a flyin'. We sat by the door for a quick escape. Much to my surprise he came in 7th place. This was really pretty great, considering there were about 25 cars. Next year, top three!

Photo Shoot in Wind Tunnel

My first appointment with Amber was post-poned due to wind and rain. Our time was running out to meet school deadlines, so we rescheduled. This day was not the "ideal" day for photos, but we pressed out luck. We decided to shoot a few and just see how far we could get. As the shoot progressed, we hid behind every tree, wall and permanate structure. Looking back, you can't even tell we were battling the wind the whole time.

My Favorite Triplets Turn One

Have A Ball

I had the plesure of shooting Brad's senior shots. Normally parents get emotional looking through the results after the shoot. Mom, who came to the shoot, went ahead and started up the tears during the shoot. I know my day is coming when I'll do the same!

Fun Seniors

Every once in a while, I get a really fun kid to photograph. Shelby was a blast to shoot, and her pictures came out great!
