A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Dipping into the cookie bouquet about 4 years ago. Wow, where does time go?
Today was a day of recovery. We decided to stop taking the Tylenol with codeine and switch to regular Motrin. This was a great success. For the first time since the break, We dusted off the wood chips, put on our pants and headed for the grocery store. We remembered everything but the Motrin. (classic)
As soon as we got home, we had a ring at the door. It was fed-ex. Later we had a second doorbell, UPS. OK, so finally, the cookie man rang the doorbell and delivered the most yummy cookies ever. I had a flashback to 4 years ago. My little, bald and beautiful baby jumped from the top of a small plastic slide and broke her arm. Same arm actually. Same place actually. Hmmm?
We were so excited to get that thing off. What a hassle those three weeks were. When we were offered "paper or plastic" at the grocery store, we answered plastic out of necessity. The day we finally got that thing cut off we found a cheerio and a spaghetti noodle. This time we are in for the long haul with the cast. My poor baby will have to spend her birthday, Thanksgiving, May's wedding, Christmas and probably the new year in a cast. Maybe we should just bedazzle the thing and call it good.
